Fortune’s annual list of the “100 Best Companies to Work For” is in February’s issue of the magazine, and 19 of the winners offer fully-paid sabbaticals, up from 16 in 2008. More offer unpaid sabbaticals, but Fortune doesn’t track that information.
Here are the companies with fully-paid sabbaticals, with their Fortune rank in parentheses:
- Edward Jones (2)
- Boston Consulting Group (3)
- Genentech (7)
- Adobe Systems (11)
- Recreational Equipment (REI) (12)
- Robert W. Baird (14)
- QuikTrip (27)
- Container Store (32)
- Alston & Bird (36)
- Plante & Moran (42)
- DreamWorks Animation SKG (47)
- Burns & McDonnell (50)
- Men’s Wearhouse (71)
- Perkins Coie (82)
- eBay (83)
- FedEx (90)
- Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants (95)
- Vanderbilt University (98)
- General Mills (99)
Who wouldn’t want to work for one of these bold and “best” companies?
