Not sure if they are Sexy or not, but they can sure be fun. I count sabbaticals as not stepping completely away from work, but rather as a moment of reflection and also a deeper focus on a priority matter. For example, a professor that takes a sabbatical to put time into a pressing bit of research or to publish a book. This isn’t just a vacation (common misperception)
